To the artists in GVA

Does anyone know where to buy art supplies (paints, canvas, brushes, etc) in this awfully expensive city? Recommendations for supply shops would be very much appreciated!! Thanks so much.

I never tried them, but the web site Artgate seem to be providing everything you're looking for.
Otherwise you may try at
M-Parc La Praille
avenue Vibert 32
1227 Carouge GE
They have a good selection of canvas, frames, brushes, etc, but they are probably more geared towards do-it-yourselfers and amateurs rather than artists.

mgemma, now that you've given that name, it reminds me of another shop just opposite of that one on the Rue Dancet: Jallut Peinture SA. They also have a Fine Arts section.
