Does anyone know where I can find a reasonably priced travel insurance for Swiss Residents? I've been out of the UK for 3 years now so can't get any from there but don't seem to find any for expats living in Europe.....

Best way is to contact your health insurance company. Price is cheap.

First of all, avoid taking out insurance through a travel agent, because it's usually pricey. The cheapest I've found is with Touring Club Suisse. Their prices are very competitive and you don't have to be a car owner as they have a separate section for pedestrians and even, contrary to UK practice, for oldies. There are different rates for travel in western Europe and travel further afield. Call 0844 888 11 for details. Hope this helps. R.

I would second the TCS option which is called "Livret ETI".
It is available for Europe only or for the whole world (depending on your travel plans for the year). Available for a family or for an individual.
Here is the link (French).
http://www.tcs.ch/main/fr/home/versicherungen/eti_reisen.html
I am also a member of Rega.

In any event, do not travel without additional health insurance.
Best,
Verbier

I'm not quite sure what your question means. Perhaps my post wasn't clear.
Anyway, it was some years ago that I discovered TCS could provide travel insurance that was cheaper than any of the insurance companies I'd contacted, so I signed up and I've been insured with them ever since. You don't have to be Swiss and you don't have to be a car driver or owner but I imagine you do need to be resident in the country. In my case, they asked for my home address, which I provided -- I live in Geneva -- and the policy arrived a couple of days later. It couldn't have been easier.
Hope this helps. R.
