Two youths were wounded by gunshot Sunday evening between 4 and 5pm near Petit-Lancy's Caroline school. A 23 year-old man was hit in the cheek. The other victim, a 15 year-old teenage girl was hit in the head. Her life remains in danger.
According to preliminary police investigations, the alleged shooter fired upon the crowd after apparently been shoved by one of the group. The alleged gunman open fire in the direction of the young man who was grazed and the bullet continued to wound the 15 year-old girl in the back of the head.
According to the group of young people present Sunday evening, one of the two men who was shoved by one of the young people, took out a pistol and fired two shots.
The girl was transported to the Geneva university hospital emergency room. She awoke from a coma Monday morning. The young man was treated by a doctor and has a 15-centimeter scar on his face. The alleged shooter, a 29 year-old Swiss man, is being held on charges of attempted murder. An investigation in underway.
