Tropical medicine?
Hi,

I'll go to South Africa for few weeks and I would like to check status of my vaccination - any idea where in Geneva can I found tropical medicine?

Policlinique de medecine
Unite de medecine des voyages
Rue Micheli-du-Crest 24
1211 Geneve
(Buildingt A, 3rd floor)
Tel: 022 372 96 11

They are open on Mondays, Tuesday and Fridays from 12:30 till 15:30 and on Thursdays from 16:00 till 18:00

I always go there to get my vaccinations done.

The Cantonal Hosptial (HUG - web address www.hug-ge.ch) are as good as the UN service I used to go to for pre-mission checkups and vaccinnations. Very efficient and professional.

By the way, I've been recommended to them by hospitals in the United States. They are public, but cutting edge in terms of research and training.

Just out of curiosity, why would you need tropical medicine if you are going to South Africa?
