UK to Swiss or Euro adapter needed

Hello, I bought an electric appliance from the UK but I am missing the adapter needed to use it here. I ordered one online but it might be 2-3 weeks until it arrives. If you have a spare one you are not using, could I borrow it until mine arrives? Cheers.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, it should look something like this:

Have you checked Coop or Edouard Baud (or other) quincaillerie or M Park? They carry them. I know I've bought them in the past because my two crockpots were British plugs. I have since had a friend clip the end and attach the swiss plug instead. (Also an option and fairly easy to do)

Hope you find a solution!

I thought about that but it would void the warranty so I'm not gonna do it.

@catalin, what  nickg_44 means is that many flat TV screens and monitors are now equiped with a complete electrical cord with a female plug on one side and male prongs on the other.

You have purchased  your new equipment in the UK with the british plug then it will be safer and faster to purchase a standard swiss one from an electronic shop anywhere here: Then you do not dismantle - no risk - your unit >>> therefore no breach on your warranty as long as a wiseman keeps the original cord aside just-in-case...

Unless you have found yourself with a soldered wiring inside the unit and you do not feel confident at messing around with. Fully understand your concern.

No offence but I had a clear request for a good reason. I appreciate everyone who's trying to help but it's a waste of time for all of us if you don't have what I asked for.

My point exactly, I though it was my english ;) I have 2 on the way already so what would I do with a 3rd one sitting around since it's only a short time... Plus I suspect some people on here confuse it with the swiss or euro to uk adapter which is something else, you normally don't find those here except in the "universal" form which are quite expensive and bulky for daily use. So I don't really feel like searching the stores for something which I am not sure to find, I guess some people don't get the concept.

I am fortunate enough to have known glocals ("GOL") in the beginnings, when people would show up with minivans and toolboxes to help other members move, or redecorate their houses. For free. Different times, different people.
