Long shot, but wondering if anyone knows of anywhere in the French border areas (Thoiry, Ferney, St Julian, St Genis) where I can get US passport photos -- the 2-inch by 2-inch ones needed by the US embassy? I know there are a few places in Geneva but I live near Bellegarde and hate to have to drive an hour only to get some photos taken. I also need a place that's open Saturday, because I can only go tonorrow to get them. Thanks!

Hi!
As far as I know all the Photomaton machines have the US passport photo option. Almost all the supermarkets such as Inter marche, Coop or Migros have one, or at the gare Cornavin.

Thank you - I'll try one of those first then in the Meyrin area to see if I can avoid having to drive all the way into town. :)

I assume that these are the same needed for a US visa? I got mine at http://photo-boutique.businesscatalyst.com/index.html in St Genis. I would not trust a machine photo.

Hi. I only had Saturday to get mine done (and the boutique you proposed is closed Saturdays) and ended up doing them at the automated machine at Gare Cornavin for 10 francs for four. Just got back from Bern and there was no problem at all with that photo. Thank you for your help, though. :)
