I am having a similar problem - the big international car hire places don't seem to do vans!
However, have alook at this place: http://www.patricklocation.ch/

Hi!
Try at www.mobility.ch . Usually they offer van from Ikea at only 35 CHF/hour, but, I'm sure they have something inside GE.
