Visit by pompiers for a kids party

Hi all


So, firstly I live in Thoiry so this may not be the best place to ask this... But, my son is turning 3 in May and would like to have a "Fire Truck" birthday party. We're planning on hosting it at our house, and I was thinking that it would be awesome if the Thoiry pompiers could pay a visit for the kids to see the fire truck.


Do any of you know if they would be willing to do this? I know I need to probably just go and ask, but my French isn't that good so I wanted to get a feel for it first. Has anyone done this before? Any ideas?

Would be better for you to create a special event on your son's birthday and get all parents drive the kids and show the firemen wash the fire truck(s) outside fire station.


So the kids will be thrilled to watch THE truck and more should the firemen not be all of a sudden called on an emergency. You need to go and ask when is the washing day.

In my opinion, I think it will be a bit difficult to bring the firemen to your house. But I think, if you go and speak with them, they will probably be very happy to show them their buildings and equipments... If you do the move, it should be not a problem, and a good warm up to get in the ambience before the "party". And if you are there, maybe, they will even suggest, they could drop by, maybe?
