Volunteering for environmental/animal welfare causes

Hi everyone,



I am looking for volunteering opportunities in the environmental/conservation/fair trade or animal welfare causes. I am open to most activities from nature guiding, awareness campaigns, research, projects, helping out at animal shelters etc. Would anyone know of any local/international NGO that would have such opportunities?

Near Genthod-Bellevue GE there is http://www.parc-challandes.ch which uses volunteers

maybe the dog shelter needs some volonteers:

http://www.sgpa.ch/

or if you prefer cats http://www.sos-chats.ch/ in Meyrin

There is a mountainforsest project:
