Washing machine repair
My 2.5 year old LG washing machine stopped mid-cycle and basically just died. Obviously, it's just part its warranty period. Does someone know of any good appliance/washing machine specialist repair place in Geneva? I contacted an electrician who advertizes on glocals.com but after promising a visit this evening he bailed just about an hour ago, even though I offered to pay him for the visit. So...Help!!! Our laundry's piling up.

i had a similar thing happen to mine a few years ago. it was simlpy the wiring which came undone inside. could also be an internal fuse. do the lights come on, or is there just no response when you try to make it start?

Jawahara:

Try Andreas on 079.456.08.04 (speaks French & German, no English).

He's a general handiman that did lots of work on my apt, incl hooking up washing machines. He's not a real electrician tho, so ask him on the phone if he thinks he's up for the challenge. If not, he'll probably be able to direct you to the right person.

He's a good trust-worthy guy.

Thanks for the response guys. Nir, I will definitely call Andreas.

And, no it pretty much looks dead. However, if I reach inside and spin the cylinder, it beeps and a few of the indicator lights come on for a while.
