Webster MBA

Hi All,

I am interested by the Webster MBA programm, the main reason is as I am working in full time the evening courses it fits my schedule perfectly.

I know The Webster University has several US accreditations, is not reputated as LMD in Lausanne and offcourse expensive.

However do you think it is worth to get a mba from there?

Do you know another MBA programm in Geneva with evening classes?

Do you know any former MBA Webster student with who I can ask further questions?

Many Thanks,

Felipe

I can only help you halfway. It's true that Webster doesn't have the reputation of IMD, but it's known as a good business school.

I don't know other programs that offer evening classes in Geneva. There are many distance-learning programs but I think the face-to-face teaching is an essential part of the course so I would never recommend them. Webster seems to offer a good compromise through these evening classes.

Just be aware that doing a part-time MBA is tough. The workload is immense and you will have to give up a lot to handle it properly. It can also be a strain on the relationship with your partner. I've done a fulltime MBA but we shared some classes with part-timers, so I know the stories.

What did you do at the end?

I am maybe also considering to do an MBA part time.

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.

I work at Webster. The MBA and the other master's programs are always taught in the evenings during the week and many of the students work full-time while earning their degree.

We welcome visitors all the time to see the campus and attend a class. It's a great way to find out if it's the kind of program and learning environment you're looking for.
