Hello, everyone!
I just arrived early this year to join my dad who has been working in the UN for 2 years now. I will be entering Webster University Geneva this coming school year since it's probably the best university (among the ones in Geneva that have English as their medium of instruction....too bad for me, I speak only Mandarin and English, so the local university is out of the question...) I was just wondering if you could give me inputs regarding Webster, what I should expect, and if you have friends/relatives who go there and how they're doing, etc (: Thank you so much, all replies will be appreciated!

Welcome to Geneva.
Here's what I know of Webster. I will also forward this to Denis Saral (a GoL member), who is a a professor at Webster, for his comments.
Overall: great uni.
Good: Great faculty with real life business experience, amazing campus, student body that's international.
Less good: they have a reputation (no idea if this is true or not) of attracting some 'rich kids' who are there cos they had money and not cos they wanted to learn, and these students can drag down the level.
Enjoy the studies!

Hello, I work in the admissions office at Webster and would be happy to talk with you about the university and to arrange for you to meet some students. I am leaving on holiday tomorrow (Fri 21 July) and will return 9 August. May I call you then?
Best regards,
Anne Standley

thank you for all the replies, but my family and i have decided that i just go back to my home country for university studies, since unfortunately the subject i want to study (bachelor of arts in english) is not offered in webster and it would be a whole lot cheaper to study back home. (:
