I'll be in Geneva for the next two weeks and will spend a weekend there. A friend adviced me to go out of the city since usually on Sunday it's too quiet.

Montreux has opened their entire main street to host the annual christmas market. one of the most visited in europe. definitely worth a day trip. ( take the train as parking is impossible, and traffic as well.)
