What is the easiest way to get to Zurich for a concert?

Hi there, my lovely husband has surprised me with tickets to go and see Lionel Richie in Zurich in May. We live in Geneva and was wondering if there was a coach service taking folk to the Hallenstadium in Zurich..Thanks

lional richie? no accounting for taste ;) any way get the train is the best bet. but you want to get a hotel up there really, geting back after a gig would be a nightmare, and hallenstadium is a bit away from the station as well.
for a cheap place to stay there is city backpackers, xtra or zic zac rock hotel, there all very basic but would have private rooms for you and cheap, xtra is actually not bad.

Childhood memories...they cling on forever. Anyway thanks for that. The hardest thing will be to persuade someone to come with me!!!

hi there,
I agree, train in CH is the best solution. coming home is possible sometimes on a weekend by bus. try www.sbb.ch and indicate the times needed!
