Already everything works on Thursday night, so it's not a big deal :-) when you really want to go out, try Quirinale, they serve good cocktails and there is a good music (wanna dance immediately!)

L'Alhambar is also nice place, little bit underground. Or if you like rock, try anything in the Old Town, there are few nice pubs

If you're around the plainpalais area have dinner in Cafe Universal, drinks in Calamar followed by more drinks in Sip

Hello ... i am "The Friend" Laura's she is talking about :) :) Thank you so so much everyone... :)

We work so hard.. and we really just want to let our hair down and i am so new to Geneva... as in i have been here only 3weeks and the Airport Tags are all still on my suitcases haha.... so i've not had chance to explore anywhere in Geneva or meet anyone who live here.

Thursday is our only time off we get together to go out.... so we are really looking for a good place to go out and dance the night away :) :)

Im new to the Geneva area too! Let me know how it goes as I will need some pointers on where to go. I'm 26 so very interested on finding out about the nightlife here.

In my experience Mulligan's is the most fun place on Thursday night if you like a young, energetic crowd, excellent live music (Brown Eyed Girl, American Woman, Sweet Caroline), and a fun Irish pub type atmosphere.

yup, would have to agree for mulligans for best atmosphere on a thursday!

yeah thats y i said it was ok, Nir. was a bit too smokey for and there were quite a few suits int here, but im not 1 to complain!!

i think i will probably much prefer mulligans by the sound of it!

will let you know when we are next out John, not sure if you want showing youa round though, at the start of the night we did end up wondering around the most ghetto part of town, which we are pretty such was the red light district, judging by all the 'good time' bars with completely blacked out windows!!! oh well at least we know where not to go now!!!

Mostly there are youngsters there and too crowded, but hey, be surrounded by suit-wearing, I like it! :-)

And yes, honestly, Java sucks and will sucks for ages :-D

Yeah I was warned their is a red light district! who'd have thought it in a nice city like Geneva! Maybe we could all go to Mulligans some time as it seems like everyone likes it. Maybe get a few other young new genevans to come along. There seems to nbe a lot of us!

Such a funny night... I think alot of people saw that we had "arrived" haha, more to see our panic looking faces as we'd actually walked up and down and up and down dark "good time" streets haha.... so we were quite glad to actually find the place we were met a friend.

Defo up for trying out new places and things.... Suit Wearing isnt that bad :)

I think Lau, our nights out are going to be a Thursday night to get out on the town! :P So everyone lets sort something out!!!!!

I feel sorry for those people that ended up at Java!

The one and only time I went there someone ruffied (drugged) the drink of one of my friends and I had to fireman's carry her home as she couldn't even walk...

Possibly because its right next to the ghetto that me and laura had to walk through to get there :(

Bad times !
