Could anyone advise me on when and where i should sell my euros for swiss francs? the euro has dropped from a once impressive 1.68 to a current figure of 1.48. Is it worthwhile waiting a year or two to see what happens or should i just sell my euros now. obviously no one has a crystal ball but i'd appreciate any advice, especially from all you bankers! Are swiss francs a good currency to buy anyway?
thanx,
m.

Where: you'll get the best rates (especially with large sums) at the two exchange places near the Geneva central train station.

I think best and most simple solution is to keep one third in each currency, CHF, USD and EUR...
The 3 currencies( plus the GBP) are the basic currencies.
By diversifying, you would not have to stress out all the time about movements because the weakness of one will be the strength of another and should basically even it out for you by the end of the day.

I don't use it, but from some people that do this kind of investiment I hard that Swissquote is quite good for currencies trading. Might be worth having a look at it :)

"ET: What do you suggest an investor should do?
WKE: Don’t keep paper money. The Euro has become toilet paper, and the Franc is not better off. I suggest that people have sufficient food, buy an acre of arable land and invest in gold. Gold is still cheap at US$3,000 an ounce."
