she already posted there several times together with the sale of furniture etc. It is Xmas. Not many seems to be interested for the obvious reasons....spending money on presents.

I agree that this is a “dead” time to sell clothes, furniture and many other things except perhaps alpine sports stuff.

The second-hand clothes market usually picks up again in early February.

I personnally use Ricardo.ch if I want to sell online. It works very well. The cost is 8% or so and you pay only if you sell.

If I want to sell in a shop, following the type of clothes, I would go to Boutique La Fontaine, rue Neuve-du-Molard for Chanel, Hermès, Dior, and so on. For less expensive clothes, I go to boutique Froufrou, Rue des Glacis-de-Rive. In these shops, the woman proposes you a sellprice and you will receive 50% of it if and when sold.

Amanda, perhaps you should calm down a bit and stop being paranoid.

I understand that you tried to get rid of your stuff for whatever reasons and it must be very frustrating that you have put up adds without a lot of response on the FB group. Obviously as you posted a lot from summar sale of clothes etc. to furniture sales, one noticed it who is part of that group.

I simply tried to let the others know that you have already posted on FB.

There is a second hand shop in rue de Monthoux called "Hazard" and next to it a new second hand shop opend a while ago - from what I've seen, both shops take 50% commission.

This site offers also the possibbiity to sell off some brand names. From what I have seen they are likely to take the Manual Ritz jacket and th Tibi coctail dress. Check it out if it works for you. I have not used them myseld.
