Where to buy a road bike / racing bicycle in Geneva

Hi there,

I am looking for a shop in Geneva that sells racing bicycles (not high end, more in the range of 2000 CHF), with a good selection and service.

I bike a lot, but have not done too much biking with racing bicycles. So any advice what to pay attention to when chosing/buying one is much appreciated.

Weight

Frame

Equipment (shimano is a good brand)

You might want to order online... I bought mine online (see link below) in germany and got it shipped to Switzerland.

I would go to a shop and get some proper advise. Online is nice if you know what you want. there is a very nice shop just outside the nyon trainstation (15 minutes by train from Cornavin)

They give proper advise, sell loads of brands.

my recommendation is canyon.de and delivery to France... unbeatable pricing and high quality. their entry model is 1100 EUR or so and can easily compete with a 2500 CHF bike from a shop in geneva...

You can also order from Canyon with delivery in Switzerland - Canyon in Switzerland is called Pure - www.purecycling.ch Another online store (that I have been purchasinf from - happy with price, service, quality) is www.rose.de (website also availablie in English)
