Hi,

Conforama has posters and pictures. It's not a big selection but maybe you can find something for yourself.

Ikea also has some choice.

If you would like to add some colors to your interior and you like original, playful and colorful paintings, then check this page and get any of them - http://asta.aigalerija.lt

Galerie 123...http://www.gal-123.com/en/home.html

One of the most amazing stores/galeries in Geneva and probably in Europe for vintage posters.  Go just to look!

Depends what  you are looking for but I often hunt down original art at all the various thrift shops around town including Emmaus in Carouge and the Salvation Army on Route de Chêne.

For example, I found a lithograph of an Aubrey Beardsley poster (Isolde) at Emmaus (framed with glass) for 15 chf!

There's a nice poster shop at the beginning of Rue des Eaux-Vives (near Place des Eaux-Vives).

Well, not sure that they will be reasonnably priced...! It's an art gallery with amazing, rare posters.

Anyway, entrance is free and looking is not charged..! :) Enjoy!

Medicis, you confuse the cinema library with poster gallery at rue at Eaux-vives.

It's 2 different adresses.

That's also a good one (for movie posters), but it's not the one I meant.

It's at Rue des Eaux-Vives; if you enter it from Place des EV it's one of the first shops on your right hand side.  They normally have some old (vintage) posters in the window.

if you are interested in some original artwork and some posters like the pen and ink line drawings I design, please take a look at them, I also do customised  “made to order” posters for you of the size you like, the colour scheme and some special preferences with my special technique style with word play. You can take a look at my website: www.sreyashighosh.net

so that you get a better idea of my artwork, I would like to invite all of you to an evening of "Words and Colours" to my vernissage on 7th June, 18h00 onwards, at saltimbanque,26 rue des grottes,1202, Geneve. Please RSVP for the event on ‘Geneva Art Connect’ on Glocals:

Best, Sreyashi.

Yes, this is Galerie 1-2-3, cited above.  They have posters of all price ranges. The owner is very nice and has one of the world's most extensive collection of posters.  It is really fun just to go in and look...

For anyone interested in the history of Swiss poster art and Swiss graphic arts, the library in the Parc des Bastions also has some excellent resource material.
