Where to dance ballroom dances and/or Jive in GVA?

I am wondering whether there are any places in Geneva where it is possible to dance Jive, Rumba, Cha Cha or even Valse? ... and that are also for people between 30-40?

I only know the Macumba for Jive (or what the French call "rock"). But is this the only place?

I'm searching a partner for ballroom dances. I'm female and 1,60m.

Thanks Bridget J! I had a look at the website, but it's a school. I already know how to dance. I am now looking for some kind of nightclub for dancing. Once I have been shown such a place, but there were only people much older than me. Frown

@ jokejochum: It is really an issue to find a dance partner. Good luck!

MàD (www.mad.coop) has dance evenings on Wednesdays, that I think are all "danses de couple". (Cannot say more, been planning for a while to try it out, but never got around to it.)

Cours Bravo (www.coursbravo.ch) sometimes organises dance evenings, composed of ballroom dancing, followed by Salsa.

Similaraly KapDance (www.kapdanse.ch) organises evenings once a month, including this week-end. "Danse de salon. Tous style de danses à deux".

Of course, if you like ballroom dancing, you may like Argentinian Tango. There's quite a lot of it in Geneva, and especially in summer, when you can do open-air dancing.

Hope this helps,

PS. Is it really necessary to have a fixed dance partner? At least in the tango/salsa world, most  just go to dance evenings, and dance with whoever is there.
