I have exactly the same need.  Many people around me had their business cards printed online by VistaPrint (www.vistaprint.ch), and it looks like they do a good job.  They're probably cheaper, too.

I've been satisfied with Helio Carouge and have sent clients there too.
You can send your image or pdf file by email and they always do a trial print ("bon à tirer") for you to check for colors and fonts.

100 cards for 65.- Sfr plus tax
200 cards for 75.- Sfr plus tax
500 cards for 95.- Sfr plus tax

This is for standard, one sided, color, 5.5 x 8.5 cm cards.

They might be a bit more expensive, but KIS (avenue du mail 5, www.kis.ch) are pretty good.

For a cheapest solution, I know that some years ago I ordered cards online through a french website, don't remember link and unfortunately don't have much time to google it, but it's someting like cartevisites.com . I think I already posted their infos there, so you might find it with the search function.

If Helio (per Daleesha's post) can really deliver 500 cards for CHF 95, then it's a good price. I used Tex (www.tex.ch), but they charge CHF 150 for 500 cards.

I have used Vistaprint (the UK version) in the past for other printing,  and the service was excellent fast turnaround with very good quality for calendars with colour pictures and personalised Christmas cards.  If the .ch one is linked to them, then it should be good.

Vistaprint is GREAT!  Used it for years and i have no complaints.  Pricing is fantastic especially if you go for the longer timeframes for delivery.  tash

as per Tex, I will never ever go there again. They are so sloooow, rude and more expensive than anywhere else in Geneva.

But I do prefer going to a local shop than online for business cards, in order to check the colors on one sample before they print out 500 ;D.

I thoroughly recommend avoiding KIS at all costs. I am shocked by how poor and dishonest their service was, and my account manager was the company director, Laurent Gaspoz! I paid CHF 350.- for 400 business cards from him (yes, v. expensive!), and they made a big mistake on the size of the cards. Instead of simply reprinting them for free, he demanded for CHF 150.- to correct their mistake!! When I refused, and asked that they make good on their contract which stipulated a specific size of card (standard size, as opposed to the much bigger size they had erroneously printed), he just stopped answering my emails. He had also promised they would be ready on a Wednesday, and when they weren't he claimed he had never promised that. All in all: a ridiculously expensive service which is run by a dishonest and highly unprofessional man. Avoid them at all costs, and go somewhere less expensive and more serious.

Well, Vistaprint is cheaper.  Since my first post, I had them make my business cards, and all the stuff (brilliant paper, front/back customization, express delivery) costed me less than 60 CHF for 250 cards.

for 500 cards is cheaper it is normal

for me and my clients i always order at www.dd24shop.de - 1000 cards cost just 19 euros, delivery to germany is free i think. not sure how much the delivery to switzerland costs.

its a huge printing company in cologne, very cost efficient and with very high qualitiy print. as a graphic designer i can recommend them without any doubt. sure they dont give personal service or advice. therefor they are very cheap.

Thanks for the recommendations people - I'm happy to know there are quite a few good options out there for next time I need cards printed, so I never need to get ripped off or treated like scum by KIS ever again...
