Where to go to buy winter tyres
We have recently moved here and need to get winter tyres for our 1995 VW Golf car.  Where is the best place to go to get resonably priced tyres.

From Pika on a previous thread:

They have two other shops that you can use (with a reservation only). See website.

www.pneusclaude.ch

Or if you know a bit about tyres you can order them on line (might be less expensive) and have them delivered to one of the seven garages in GE that will mount them for you. You have to consider the cost of the tire (includes shipping) and the mounting fee that is CHF 15-25 per tire. There is a page (under winter tryes) that will help you find the right ones for your car.

Here is the link (in French, German and Italian only). You use a credit card or pre-pay via bank transfer.
