Where to hold birthday party for 9 year old boy in Geneva?

My son's birthday last year was a little skimpy, since we had just arrived - some cake at home with family - so I'm looking to do something more this year.

Any thoughts about a good place for a birthday party?  Would Yatouland be an option, or is it more suitable for younger kids?

thank you!

There's a plce called Yatouland in Vernier. They have an indoor space with attractions for kids and they rent an area for birthday parties.

This is new and apparently fun -- for the kids, but not necessarily the parents (though I suppose you can go to the nearby spa for 2 hours while the entertainment staff takes care of the children):

Sylvia: you did not mentioned your son's hobbies:

Train ? Reserve for half-day the old tramway from TPG for the whole bunch -with controlling parents- and he+his pals will remember;

Food & Cuisine? He will participate to prepare desserts at CuoCake Heaven in Carouge

Steam-Paddle Ship or Boat ride on the lake? if still available and no mention of his birth month ;-(  that would be great for all.

Animals..like Buffalos and Poneys? Hot-air baloons?

to name a few more.

Sylvia, we may have ideas but only the Mother knows her son secret hobby so share it with us and we won't say, Promised!

This thread has really picked up again!  We've already had the birthday party (Laser Evolution on Rue de Chene) but I will definitely pick up some ideas for next year.

Hi,

not sure if would like it but most Young boys would, But what about Go Kart.

Theres one in Annemasse not far from the border and it has a small restuarant/area to eat aswell. Kids can enjoy a few laps and some food. Adults also...

Great fun!

Good luck!

Hello, I know it has been years, but I was looking for birthday ideas for my son and saw your comment. How is it possible to reserve the old-tramway from TPG?

I was planning to celebrate two boys' birthdays together, a 4 year-old and a 6 year-old. They like riding the bus or train, love watching construction machines, enjoy playing with lego, 4 year-old loves puzzles, and for some reason moves a lot, jump-climb-run-fall-balance-try anything that is out of the ordinary and possibly dangerous kind of moving :D And they like these cartoon dogs, Paw Patrol, apparently it is the trend from their peers.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!
