My wife and I are searching for the flat already for half a year with no luck. We are now thinking to get a help of a relocation agency. We would like to get some info first, before we decide.
- Who do you recommend?
- What would be the typical price 1 rent, 2 rents or more?
- How does it work? They search and than you pay at the end when you get a flat? Or you pay at the beginning?

Standard is one month rent. I tried 3 agents and found it rather disappointing - nothing happened. One of them promised viewings if I paid CHF1000 heads up and the rest of one month rent on contract signature. Another gave appointment to see a flat and never showed. Third told me to look for flats and tell what I eventually found so he would contact the regies. At the end I found a flat on my own via Glocals after 9 months search. Should you be willing to pay over CFH3000 or more no need of agents, regies have plenty available.
