Just back from Pickwick's we were a group of six Could have welcomed more but depends on interests we were hashers and Swiss Alpine club members

Maybe with a friend or two but most probably by myself. And before some smartass says anything about women alone at bars, i know the people working there! So no worries about big groups and all.

And look at it this way. Big group means more potential new friends!

No. I use this website to invite people to mountain activities I organise which can be ski touring, snow shoeing. hiking, scrambling and easy alpinism ehich I organise on behalf of the Swiss Alpine Cluub, Oxygen 74 and private. This gives people the opportunity to meet up with others of the same interests and around 25% of those who come from glocals end up becoming members of one or other (or both) of the clubs.

But you have to be interested in those activities.  If you state what you are actually interested in I can possibly direct you to other organisations and if not maybe someone else can.

I find glocals a fantastic organisation but have never needed to go to a glocals organised event, as you will see if you check my profile.
