Re skiing - any preferences betweem Zermatt and Verbier -
re. slopes, village, after ski, restarants, ambiance etc
I have the impression Zermatt slopes are often in the shade.
Is it just an impression?

They are both awesome ... and expensive. France is a lot cheaper to ski in.

I'm with Sean. But if you have to choose, I'd go for Verbier. A bit more sporty and less showy than Zermatt

Thanks Nir.

If the purpose is to be able to say “We’ve been there and done that” then Zermatt is probably better known to Anglo-Saxons than Verbier.
