Zermatt relay marathon (July 9th, 2011)

Hello!


I would like to sign up for the Zermatt relay marathon this July, and am looking for another person to share the 42km. I've heard great things about this marathon, beautiful sceneries though there are steep climbs. The cost is CHF 80 for registration, male or female partner okay.


A bit about me: I'm 25, female, half-marathon pace around 2 hours (definitely will be longer with hills). I've done 1 marathon (Ottawa 2008) as well as several halfs, and am in training for the NY marathon in November 2011. I'm arriving to Geneva in May, and look forward to join some running groups there!

I would indeed be interested in this. How about we meet for a run and see if we wanna tackle this together? I live between Geneva and Lausanne and would be happy to meet you in Geneva. I am 33, female and my half marathon time is probably something like 1:45 - definitely longer uphill :-)). You are happily invited to join me and my running mate for any of our runs any time. Normally we run at least once a week a long distance (usually something between 1:30 -2:00 hours).


Not familiar with this website yet - so hesitant to put in my phone number as I don`t know who else can see it. Just drop me a note if you like.

I have done the 12 km in Zermatt and it's nice! A relay sounds tempting! My halfmarathon is something like 1:35 h.


Do you know Geneva runners? We are training each Monday/Wednesday and Saturday starting at Bain des Paquis. Maybe we could meet there and probably some ppl of the group might be interested in joining Zermatt.

Sorry I didn't get to respond sooner, somehow all glocals messages ended up in my Spam folder. I found a partner for the Zermatt relay already. Marina, hope you found a partner! Rena - thanks, I will definitely plan to join the running group.
