I think almost all communes of the canton has its own basket club. The question is : does your son speak French ?

He speaks little, it would also help him to practice his French. Do you know how to find those local clubs?

There's an international basketball club but they only have senior teams. So your son will end up at a French-speaking club anyway.
Easiest (and most convenient) is probably to pick a club close to where you live, unless your son has played at a competitive level already in which case you may want to go with a club that is highly ranked (and will therefore have good youth trainers). I have no idea which clubs have a high ranking though.
