bass guitar lessons
Hello all,

Does anyone here gives bass guitar lessons (for a complete beginner)?

I bought one sometime ago and tried to teach myself through reading and watching videos, but it's really hard like this. Also learning with someone who knows it's much more fun :)

If you know someone who does, let me know.

cheers

Hi I have just moved over here with a new job.  My wife is a guitar teacher in the UK and is coming over in about a month.  She will be giving lessons for Guitar and Bass in and around Geneva.  I used to play myself.  What kind of Bass do you have?

Hey,

sorry for the delayed reply, I had been kind of away during last week.

My bass guitar is a Tanglewood, 4 strings. Full details at:

I really have to learn the basics of bass guitar, and music theory would be a plus.

lmcmanus, let me know when you're wife is in town and ready for giving some bass lessons.

cheers
Actually, I might be interested by a few lessons myself, to see how I catch on, for a start. But I don't have a bass guitar :( just classical and folk ones (I'm a guitarist & music theory teacher).

Let's see about it when your wife settles in Geneva. Anyway, I'm in no hurry about that the bass guitar thing.
Then, maybe we can have classes together :)

thanks for the ETM suggestion. It's actually very close to my next job.

cheers
