birthday party venue suggestions?
So next saturday is my birthday, and I am looking for a good venue to gather all my friends, and I'm out of ideas. I know Saturdays are really busy so if I could make a reservation that would be great.  I'd like to keep it at a bar/lounge, because a big club would be to impersonal, but I would love it if there was good music and at least a small dance floor...well we tend to carve out our own dancefloor anywhere we go, but it would be nice if there was a regular one as well. Also, not so expensive as all my friends are students, and not impossible to have room for me and at least 10-15 more people that come with...

any suggestions??? anything is appreciated!

Thanks!

Happy birthday Niks!

Try:

  • The downstairs floor at Soleil Rouge
  • The downstairs floor at Shakers, which you could probably get just for you guys for a few hours before the club opens to the public

Good luck, and happy birthday!

You could probably also try the Funky Monkey Room in Eaux-Vives.

Happy bday!

you can try la SIP in Plainpalais there are two floors : 1 for dancing and the other one with music where you can enjoy drinking and chilling...but it's rather crowded for week end.
