You may not have a choice but to get naxoo....

I really wanted to get Bluewin tv because it had more uk channels however we have broadband with tele 2 and the abonnement expires in 2009 so we had no choice but to get naxoo. It was something to do with swiss com. You need swisscom asdl or something for bluewin tv which is also cheaper than naxoo.

Another bonus for Bluewin tv is that depending on your age, installation is also free -..- you have to be younger than 26....

I have BluewinTV through ADSL and I like it very much. Very little service disruption and lots (comparatively) of english channels. I got a special deal because I was with Swisscom but I don't know if they offer service everywhere in the area (I'm in Nyon).

I had cable at Versoix (canton Geneve) with about 25 channels, including BBC World, which has just been withdrawn - they will commercialise it outside the UK, soon.

I had cable via TRN - Tele Reseau Nyon when I moved just up the road, just inside Vaud, that had 36 channels.

Now, I am exploring TV by internet - my post on Forums, General, TV via Internet.

Hello.

Is anyone able to update this information? We are unhappy with Swisscom and looking for a new provider. We've been unable to record movies for several months and they've been unable to resolve the problem, even after we spent several hours on the phone to them.

Just looking for a well priced package, with good access to films and arts channels.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

We had a short experience with cablecom and it was pretty good but then we switched back to bluewin and we are happy so far. Check out their deals at cablecom.ch
