how much does it usually cost to get the taxes done by someone? We are a married couple, so it would be the paperwork for two people.

it is very difficult to estimate this. It's costing me 5 times the non-binding original estimate even though they had all required info for the estimate. My tax return is however quite complicated compared to most.

CHF 100-200 per person on average. Can be lower if you find someone really cheap, or higher if your declaration is complicated.
