cream of tartar?
Is this readily available at places like Coop and Migros? It's a little hard to substitute baking powder for 1tsp baking soda and 1tsp cream of tartar because the proportions are off. And my baking powder expired in 2007, though that is rather the least of my worries.

Anyways, cream of tartar. My sugar cookies thank you in advance!

You can buy this in a Droguerie (ex. SunStore), in French it's called "crème de tartre" (I use this for homemade playdough, LOL)

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had a list of stores to visit today in my quest, and you have narrowed it down to one!

Thank you!
