dentists in geneva

Has anyone ever been to C1 Centre Médico Dentaire at Charmilles? My colleague recommended this place, but she only had her teeth cleaned there. I would like to have more comments, but found none. Can anyone kindly give me some advice? Many thanks.

Well, the thing with the dentist in Geneva is....that they are terribly expensive..!!

I was given a contact of a dentist in St Julian, in city center (chirurgien) and he's fantastic. I paid a very smooth price for many appointments and a chirurgical intervention. Up to you, but if you wish I will give you his contact details. BTW, I recommended already many people and all were very satisfied.

Hi, Martyna, could you kindly provide me the details with the dentist that you recommend? Is St. Julian in France?

I have been many times at Charmilles C1, Overall good service, prices are fine. Once I had an appointment with doctor who is high professional, or smth like that, and for 5 minut consulatation he charged me 120 chf plus added 15 minut as if I was late, but I was not. So I avoid visiting him again. But other doctors seems to be ok. Also it is convinient that they can organise urgent appointment for you and also they work on Sunday.

I also once was at medicale dentaire Balexert and I found their prices more expensive.

Hi,

I recommend `Clinque de Carouge` Cressida Dawson`s Practice.

Cressida Dawson is British and Aiofe Bambury is Irish. They are very good and have had no problems with them.

Also thought they seemed fairly priced.

Just google Cressida Dawson and her website should come up.

Goodluck.

For the best quality/price ratio (3-4 times less as in Geneva) you may consider to make a choise among many dentists just accros the border in Gaillard/Annemasse.  Tram 12 and bus 61 take you to the border. Have a look at the web site beloww or the list. I can recommend dr Grégoire Nowak. I believe he speaks also English. You will find him on the list at 100m from the tramway terminus.   http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/trouverlesprofessionnels/rechercheClassique.do;jsessionid=2546EAD6A6F60AD691E496BBE3B7FE52.yas05g

Sorry. my above link does NOT work. Go to www.pagesjaunes.fr and type "dentists" and "Gaillard", scroll down to find dr Nowak or anyone. You shall find all details including map.  Good luck.

Try Alex Boeschel, rue Emile Yung.  He trained as a medical doctor then became a dentist specializing in jaw problems.  He is excellent, very professional and the prices are reasonable for Geneva.

Hi everybody,

I experienced a lot of dentist around Geneva... I really woudn't recommand a dentist in France. I had to re-do the work done there and at the end you pay twice...! I am now always afraid when I read "France"

With the time I learned: the Swiss universities are among the best in the world! The low-cost (in France) is always too expensive.. My recommandation is to have to have the best care possible and that means often dentsits from the Swiss universities... Be also careful: swiss dentist doesn't mean always quality.

I've been followed now for 4 years at Centre Médico-Dentaire Balexert: easy access, parking, a full team with specialists if needed at the same place, high technology and they are open late (9pm) during weekdays,... I am happy there and no problem with the care since I am there... Normal price for Geneva.
