Could somebody please tell me how much does it cost to get a monthly pass card (I heard there is something Carte 12 - 25) for public transport. Does it include all types (tram, bus, metro) or do I need to buy separate cards for each of them? And are there any night buses to get home not paying for taxi or looking for a sober friend to give me a ride? Thaaaaanks!!!!!! :)))

Hello I buy a monthly card. You can use it on bus/tram in Geneva and surrounds. It costs CHF70 per month. Buses run quite late, depending on where you coming from or going to, but up until about 1am or after! I make good use of it, you can go anywhere in Geneva with this card. I believe you can also get a year pass, but not sure how much this costs. Hope this helps! Kim

Hi
Passes and tickets are also valid on the small yellow boats (Mouettes TPG) crossing over the lake.
There are indeed year passes, they cost about CHF 800/year, or less if you are under 25.Your employer or bank or any sponsor may offer a CHF 100 discount on the year pass (Banque Cantonale de Genève does it, for example).
Depending on how much you use the transportation network, there are also prepaid cards of CHF 20, 30 and 50. You can buy your ticket at the machines with them and when you give back empty cards totalling CHF 200 value, the TPG office at Rive or at Cornavin give you a free ( and full) CHF 20 card.
All information on the network and time schedules are here : www.tpg.ch
I think night buses run later on friday and saturday, but not all night anyway.
PS. Carte 12/25 is a french reduction card for french trains - useless for public transports in Geneva

For people under 25, it cost 45.- a month, and the yearly one in 650, not 800.
you can find the infos there:

You can also find on tpg.ch the infos about the nightly bus, there are some ,so it might be a good solution for you. http://tpg.ch/fr/horaires-et-reseau/noctambus/index.php
