hi everyone,

I am looking into doing a PGCE here in Geneva (a teaching qualification) and after a meeting with the organiser today I have been informed that to be seriously considered as a candidate, i need to show i have had experience in this area. This will also help me to be sure that this is what I really want to do.

the traditional route would be to volunteer in a school however, the application deadline is in November and I am under contract at work until December.

I am looking for other ways to gain this experience and I need help in finding it. So, if you know of any sunday schools, clubs, activites etc that I could volunteer at please please let me know. perhaps your children play sports at the weekend, or go to a drama school, art classes, homework clubs etc. if you could put me in touch with the organisers I would be very grateful.

I live in Ferney voltaire so something close to home would be handy, but I am willing to travel if needs be as this is something I really want to do.

I have had experience working with children before, it is just not recent. and i do have a clear CRB.
