I'm moving into an unfurnished flat this week and was wondering if anyone can spare me the trauma of an ikea visit by allowing me to take any unwanted beds, clothes rails, cabinets etc that you may have which are surplus to requirement?
Any help on this would be most gratefully received

It might be worth becoming a member of Freecycle Geneva. It's all about giving and finding stuff for free. Here's the link.
Also on the Worldradio Switzerland website, in the classifieds, there's a "free stuff" section.
You can also get relatively cheap stuff from the Caritas shop in Carouge, and on this website (lots of moving sales going on).
