It seemed quite clear to everyone: The King of Pop had now arrived.

He became the best known of his talented family tree

When he sang "Want You Back" and the hit "ABC".

In Thriller's epic video he played an undead teen,

And made so many other hits like "Bad" and "Billie Jean".

His songs became our anthems, his dancing was fantastic;

His face was known around the globe; first black, then white and plastic.

He lived his life in the spotlight, it had its highs and lows;

A whirlwind marriage to Lisa Marie, some mishaps with his nose.

His image was iconic, his life somewhat bizarre,

But he'll always be remembered as a global superstar.

Now he's with the saints somewhere, moonwalking for heaven's delight,

Michael Jackson lived in Neverland, married the King's daughter, was loved & imitated by every kid in the world who'd heard of him. He then screwed it all up single-handedly. If he wasn't the coolest, who is?

The coolest thing about Michael Jackson is, he will forever be a source of entertainment, he is now as known on trick or treater route or costume party as frankenstein...

The most impressive thing about Michael is that even if there was so much polemic around him, after his death, every one seems to have forgiven and they just remember his contribution to world's music.

I remember long time ago, when I was in high school, Michael Jackson was on TV and my mom just said thinking loud: I wonder was they use to whiten Michael Jackson. I will love to try it on your dirty socks.
