Unless you are someone who wants to do the dog-show circuit, why do you want to buy a dog? Please consider adopting a dog that needs a home. It's cheaper, better for your karma, and you get a dog that really needs a home. Check out this site: http://www.sgpa.ch/
I don't want to sound like a boring public service announcement but the reason many communities do not allow dogs to be sold in pet stores (at least in the U.S., and perhaps the same reason applies here) is that the vast majority of these dogs come from puppy mills. There is no foolproof way to verify that dogs in stores come from respectable breeders, especially since respectable breeders would not sell their dogs through stores.
Here is some info on puppy mills: http://stoppuppymills.org/
Hope you find the right dog for you :-)

Well first , I never seen a Pet shop but only Pet supply shops. I have not see a Pet shop where you can buy a pet, like dogs or cats or rabbits.
Rabbits or Hamsters or Guinny pigs are easily purchased in France. but Dogs and Cats are mostly sold from Breading Kennels. then finding the right kennels of Breeds you want, is again challenging.
I have had 2 dogs (past away at 16yrs and 18years), 4 rabbits and living well for 4years, and now a cat (adopted).
None came from Breeders in Switzerland. I just import from France and declared them with the Douane. Registered them with the cantonal offices, so I get dog tags. Then I had to get Dog insurance and a microchip injected. Because the dogs often in france have tatoos and Swiss use Microchips for identification.

You will need to find a breeder, either in Switzerland or in France.
You can find live pets in Maxi Zoo, Annemasse.
