Does anyone know how to get to Prague for cheap? Me and my hubby would like to visit our friend who lives there for 3 days. The flight prices that I get for both of us return is around 700 Euros, which is quite a bit for the flights for 3 days. Any suggestion? Any cheap airlines or trains? Did anyone go to Prague for cheaper than that?
Thanx

It's always more expensive to travel on week-ends. If you can make it a Monday return, I think the price works but there's no super economy for a Sunday return.

I used to fly out of Zurich to Prague every weekend and the best deal I got was with Czech Airlines.

Don't forget to add another CHF 80 per person to that (GE-ZH-GE on train) unless you drive.
If you drive then there are a few places in ZH where you can park for free for the weekend(with little maths involved)... :P
Cheers

I may still consider a bus, it's a bit long thought, but the price is like 90 francs return:-)

I have done that as well.........................
It involves 2 painful and sleepless nights and 2 days to recover from the night!
Good luck

But you must have seen a lot of nice places on the way?
Trust me...all you will try to do is close your eyes and find a comfortable position to sleep!

I am from Prague originally and fly home or book flights for family/frinds often. As somebody said, around the weekend it is rather expensive, so it helps if you could come back on Monday.
Unfortunately the only company that is available now (Besides czech airlines - which are generally very expensive) is Swiss...
I tried to look at the options going from Basel, Milan!, Paris, even London :)... etc. but if you are only going for a weekend it is too much hassle and risk u miss the corresponding flights + when you add the costs of getting to those places it is almost the same. However I generally manage to find flight from 200 - 400 CHF return.
You are brave if you take the bus - I did it once during my student years and it is a very long drive. would not recommend it as you will be super tired afterwards.
Hope you find a solution & enjoy Prague!
