how to move to a new room

Hi everyone!

I should move to a new room and I have many stuff to carry with me.

Do you know some moving companies or taxis at a good prices?

And... do you know how much is it more or less?

Thank you in advance!

Sorry I'm not the most helpful, but since there are no replies yet - I have heard that if you call Ikea customer service they can give you the names/numbers of reasonable movers.

Where do you live?

Where are you moving to?

What kind of "stuff" do you need to take with you? Clothes etc or furniture as well? How much? How big?

It's hard for people to help you if you don't provide at least basic information...

Hello Guys!

thank you for your messages!

I have no furnitures, just clothes and little things that together are like 1 big baggage, 1 small, and then more little bags....

Why not take the tram 15, since you wouldn't have to change lines, and then make a couple trips, if you don't have any furniture or anything? That will save you a lot of money...

Great value for money and quality! Dantas (the name of a guy who owns and handles all 'when, how, what, how much' part, phone 41 76 542 5327.

Used their service recently - got his contact from a friend who was very happy with their help relocating from one spot in geneva to another. He came first to see how much stuff (at 7am as requested and perfectly on time and obviously for free) and then arranged when I asked (weekend) his 2 guys to come (again perfectly on time) with a small track, they packed all (what was not yet packed) - with own and free boxes  - way much faster vs expected, de-assembled all what was needed re furniture and delivered where needed, reassempling the stuff with care. Was very happy! I allocated much more time for that (and budget, respectively). Of note, their weekend work costs SAME AS WORK DAYS, could be any time in case you work and dont want to miss any work day! This is not an ad from a person who's personally interested, just really - feel like they deserve to be known for their good job!
