how to sell car...paperwork?

I am selling my car soon and I wondered what I need to do in terms of paperwork. When I bought it (second hand) the garage handled all that and I just got my plates in the post. I assume that I must take off the plates, but do I need forms to change ownership, is there a fee and is that my responsibility or the person buying the car?

It is on swiss plates and the expertise was almost exactly one year ago...so I just need the grey card and the plates to cancel? And does the buyer then need to take my cancelled card to register for plates before he drives it away or will a copy be okay? I assume he must have it registered in his name with plates before he can drive it away? Or is that up to him?

Does a car need a new 'expertise' when it changes owner?
If so, I guess that it must the the responsibility of the seller and do I have to take it to a garage for them to do it...at home I take my car for MOT, but seems bit more tricky here...hate to be a clueless girls..but cannot find information about these things anywhere..
