internet cafe with scanner in GVA ?

Hello there,

Does anyone know where I can find an internet cafe with a scanner in Geneva ?

There's one at the gare, but they were clueless when I went there. I asked "Avez avous du scanner?" They said no. Then I pointed a scanner next to one of the computeres and they just walked away.

I did a quick search on google (oh yeah, google knows everything...) :-) and found this:

Chary's Multimedia Check Point, Rue de Fribourg 7 in Pâquis. www.charlys.com

And this link might also be useful (although I don't know how up to date it is): http://geneva.angloinfo.com/af/277/geneva-cyber-cafes-and-public-internet-access.html

Old question, but I'd like to access a scanner for a few scans I would do myself (thus ideally I wouldn't need to pay for the service), and send putting files in my USB key or the could/E-mail.

Where could I do that? Any public service offering this facility? Libraries?

There is application for a mobile phone "Genius Scan" it's for free and you can scan directly by your mobile phone. Its working very good.

Thanks Katarzyna for the suggestion.

I've played with Genius Scan on my phone a little, however I haven't found this very convenient and quick as I needed to adjust the distance, lighting. Also, although for one or two pages playing with the tilting and angles is fine, going above a dozen pages, the fun for sure will not be as high!

Therefore a flatbed scanner or at least a sheet-fed scanner would be much more convenient!

At any Migros Print ship. Just google for locations. Awesome quality. Very cheap.

If no USB key they can send the scan to your email.

Get a cheap home printer and scanner (less than EUR80.00). It comes in handy, especially if you're likely to scan docs more than 4 times a year https://www.ecoburotic.fr/produit/19276/epson-workforce-wf-2630-wf
