internet in appartment?

hi all,

im moving into a new appartment in geneva and want to be able to use the internet in my new place. (no phone line either so i will have to include that in the installation price).

I've watched the glocals video re: using Orange and have ruled it out due to so many glocals expressing dissatisfaction with it.

so what does that leave? swisscom? i dont care if i have to pay a bit, i just want something reliable that works. if possible please tell me what you use in your home and how much it costs.

thanks everyone,

m.

I have Swisscom and never had any problem with it. I chose the economy line (25 chf) plus Internet (49 chf) plus the TV box (19 chf) and installed everything by myself in 10 minutes.

I had a swisscom connect for few years; worked well but realized that you end up 60chf basically (25chf for the line and 35chf for basic package).

I switched to sunrise, and for the same price they offer a much faster internet connection of download speed up to 5Mbit/sec.

Another option is to take the cable connection from cablecom with internet + digital TV.

I am using Cablecom and I am really happy with them. Initial installation took some time but service after that is as good as they come. I have 25Mbit + phone.
