Hi Ruta, there is a deal running now by www.deindeal.ch which enables you to repair your iphone for 1/2 the price. The repair office is in Lausanne but you can also send your iphone per post. May be it is worth a look!

if its merely a screen replacement there are a couple of people on Glocals who can do it for you. Mr Jazz and Zonker.

Ive done it myself before buying the kit from igoodies.ch and following the you tube video instructions... but if youre not into fiddling around or dont know the creen to get I would let them.

the two above would be much cheaper than a shop.

Thanks for all this info. My son smashed his Iphone4s Screen yesterday. I've just been up to the Swisscom shop and they told me it would take 2 weeks and 280 francs to replace. I also appreciate any additional info of places that can do it quicker and CHEAPER.

I know this is an old thread.. But regarding the apple store in GE . They don't repair broken screens on 4s, they replace the phone for 209chf .. So good in that you get a new (factory refurb) phone and warranty .. But you can do it yourself for around 50chf.

So I guess - do you new phone right now - Apple store
  Happy to wait for parts - send your phone away by post, then shop around.

The battery in my Iphone 3G exploded and was told that they could not replace it as it was no longer under warranty. However, i could purchase a new one for CH 150. Does anyone know how much it would cost to replace the battery and where I could get this done?
