Hi, Sorry to hear it.  My son had it last week.  Doctor confirmed with a nose culture at the office.  Basically there is nothing you can do but make sure he is hydrated, fed and rested.  His fever went as high as 40.5.  It was a pain to keep his nose clear, but we found that a humidifier helped a lot the last few days.  In his case, he also had an ear infection and has to be on antibiotics.  The creche said a lot of kids have the flu (grippe) right now.  I think he almost gave it to me, but I drank a lot of tea, orange juice and took my vitamins.  We are all ok now....  Good luck.
