letter to OCP written by lawyer

Hello all,

Do anybody knows good lawyer or consultant? I'm not even sure if i need him, I have to compose a letter to Office Cantonal with explaining some reasons (why i changed university, what are my plans, etc)

Letter in formal way, on perfect french.

would be easier for me explain everything to lawyer on english or even russian :-)

Any advice are strongly appreciated.

Thanks, DIna

Hey Onis,

You should try Caritas where a lawyer can help you for free with the first steps, (Acacias or Carouge I believe) or the Permanence juridique (Route de Verdaine, old town) where you pay 50,- or so for an hr advice with a lawyer. I would assume they can help you out with composing the letter.

Thanks Lexi, but i don't think that Permanence would help me, i went there for one case (flat thing) and they are so useless, even cheap.

you can always sign up for "protection juridique" an insurance which will answer all your questions and even defend you in court etc. cost is about 250.- sfr. per year. you can speak to lawyers over the phone any time.

Hi Onis,

On the webpage of the "Ordre des avocats de Genève" (www.odageneve.ch), you can find a lawyer (specifying the language you want and the specialty you need):

https://www.odageneve.ch/dbsearch/index.php

Hope this is useful
