Any recommendations on a swim instructor for a beginner? We've had no luck finding lessons available on a Saturday/Sunday with the swim schools for June/July (have tried many...) so are now on the lookout for a private instructor. Tks!

You could try the Cercle des Nageurs de Nyon. Perhaps one of the teachers would be up to doing a weekend course.

Contact "SWISS". She organises swimming lessons (for adults). Perhaps the same teacher may be available for you.

My daughter (7) takes private lessons at the swimming school Geneve Natation 1885 (www.gn1885.ch, T. 076 4088475). There is also another school with private lessons, you can try calling them up, too: http://www.natation-ecole.ch. Good luck!
