"lounge music" for international conference
Hello,

I am working with an international human rights NGO and we are organising a conference at the end of February with about 120 human rights advocates from all over the world.

We will have a reception on 25 February, 18 h - 19h30 hours, most probably at the Centre de conferences de Varembe. We would like to liven it up with some live "lounge music" (klezmer, jazz, light classical). Does anyone have a suggestion for good amateur musicians who would like to play?

cheers,

Bert

It is like anything else you are very unlikely to get anything decent for free ?

I can certainly put you in touch with great professional bands and musicians and dj's, if you have a budget, but if you want great entertainment and to make an impact , you may need to reconsider going for anything amateur..

Hi Bert,

Just send you a message suggesting a possible venue at a hotel which has lounge music facilities.  It's not a live band though, but see if it might help you.

Good luck.

Hi Bert,

I'm a professional musician, and therefore could not do it for free. If you're interested though, I could organize something at a very reasonable price. It sounds like a jazz trio or quartet would be perfect, or maybe something a bit funkier.

If you would like some more information about what I can offer, send me an email to [email protected], and I can provide you with a quote, some references and demo recordings.
