Shiortly ariving to Geneva, and need to use my laptop to find a place to live and a job.

Is wifi readily available or do I need a usb dongle? If the latter, which is the isp to go with, costs, and coverage? I hear Swisscm is best.

Help appreciated. :)

You should be able to get by with free Wi-Fi (at least to start).

Here is the location map of the free Wi-Fi from the city. The green ones are active. You can zoom in and out on the map.

There are four Starbucks with free Wi-Fi in Geneva.
